  2. 1 Tablespoons cornflour
  3. 1 Tablespoons Rice flour
  4. 1 Teaspoon Rava
  5. 1 Tablespoons Red chilli powder
  6. 1/2 Teaspoon white pepper
  7. 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  8. as per taste Salt
  9. 2 Tablespoons regular cooking oil
  10. 2 Big Onions finely chopped
  11. 1 Tablespoon Tomato sauce
  12. 2 Teaspoon Flexseeds /Sesame seeds
  13. 1/2 Teaspoon Red chilli sauce
  14. Handful Mint leaves /Coriander leaves optional
  15. 20 grams ginger finely chopped
  16. 1 Garlic bulb Finely chopped
  17. 3 green chillies finely
  18. 1 Teaspoon coriander powder

Instructions to make to make Chilli potatoes

  1. Peel potatoes and cut each to half and again cut like in semicircular shape.Dip them into a bowl for 20 minutes and add 1 teaspoon salt in it and keep it aside
  2. After 20 minutes drain the potatoes and just slightly give a quick boil to them in Fresh water just for 3 minutes until they are slightly cooked but firm
  3. Drained the potatoes completely and Now Sprinkle Rice flour, cornflour, and Rava and now add black pepper, coriander powder, red chilli powder, pinch of salt
  4. Toss well to coat all the flour and dry spices evenly.but don't add water in it.
  5. Heat oil in kadai /or pan in a high flame. When hot enough slide one by one to hot oil. Deep fry potatoes in a medium to low flame.Until golden & Crisp. But don't Trun them in to brown.
  6. Do not over cook. And check if the potatoes are completely from inside yet crisp.
  7. Heat the kadhai again add 2 Tablespoons oil now add finely chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies. Saute themfor 30 second and put the flame high until they smells good.
  8. Add finely chopped onions and again saute for 1 minutes in a medium to high flame until transparant or pink dont brown them
  9. (Here I don't use capsicum if you want this stage of process you can add them) Add tomato sauce,red chilli sauce, and here I add Chings Chinese masala 1 teaspoon Just to give exotic Chinese flavour to it.
  10. Here I add 2 teaspoon of water and mix with all potatoes frying batter so that I can use them their left over spices and flavor too and pour in the onion and now add potatoes and turn the flame high. And toss them properly. Be careful while tossing. Add mint it's optional. Now add Flexseeds it's optional.
  11. Serve Chilli Potatoes hot and immediately as they lose the crispness.
